Terms of service
The rules for using PostPilot. Short version: we publish posts to a Google profile you own, you stay responsible for what goes out under your name, and either of us can walk away at the end of the month.
Last updated 2 September 2026PostPilot, operated by SocialViens, India
In one line
You keep your content and your Google profile. We generate and publish posts on your instruction. Plans run month to month, invoices are raised on request, and nothing is auto-charged.
1. The agreement
These terms are between you (and the business you represent) and SocialViens, which operates PostPilot from India. Creating an account means you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to.
2. What PostPilot does
PostPilot generates a caption and an image for your business, schedules them, and publishes them to the Google Business Profile location you connect. We are an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or certified by Google, and your use of Google Business Profile remains subject to Google’s own terms.
3. Your account
- Give accurate business details. The posts are only as good as what you tell us.
- Keep your password to yourself. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
- You must own, or be authorised to manage, the Google location you connect. Posting to a business you do not represent is a breach of these terms.
4. Your Google connection
By connecting Google you instruct us to publish approved posts to the location you selected, on your behalf, until you disconnect. You can disconnect at any time from Settings or from your Google account permissions page, and posting stops immediately. If Google revokes, rate-limits or rejects our access, posting stops and we will tell you in the dashboard and by email.
5. The free trial
The trial runs for 14 days from signup and includes 10 generated posts. It needs no card. When it ends, automatic posting pauses and your data stays in your account until you choose a plan or ask us to delete it.
6. Plans, invoices and payment
- Plans are monthly and their limits (posts, locations, templates, languages) apply from the moment you switch.
- We do not have a payment gateway connected yet. Changing plan in the app takes effect immediately and records an invoice, which we then send you with UPI and bank transfer details. Nothing is ever charged automatically, because we do not hold your card.
- If an invoice stays unpaid, we will email you and then pause posting on the account. We will not delete your data for non-payment.
- You can cancel from Billing at any time, with no notice period. Cancellation stops future invoices; the period already invoiced is not refunded except as described in clause 7.
- Prices are in Indian rupees. Taxes are added where they apply.
7. If we break it
If a fault on our side stops your posts publishing for more than seven days in a month and we cannot fix it, write to support@socialviens.in and we will refund that month. This does not cover outages, changes or rejections on Google’s side, which are outside our control.
8. Content, AI and responsibility
You own your business information, your logo and the posts we generate for you. You give us the licence we need to store that material, process it, and publish it to your Google profile on your instruction.
Captions and images are produced by an AI model and can be wrong. Every post waits for your approval unless you switch on auto-approve, which is your choice and your risk. You remain responsible for what is published under your business name, particularly prices, discounts, availability, guarantees, and any medical, legal, financial or safety claim. Check the post before you approve it.
We may look at aggregate, non-identifying usage patterns to improve templates and prompts. We do not use your posts as public examples without asking you first.
9. Acceptable use
- Nothing illegal, misleading, hateful, obscene, or designed to impersonate another business.
- No claims you cannot back up, and no offers you do not intend to honour.
- No reselling PostPilot output as your own service unless you are on the Agency plan.
- No attempts to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service or its APIs.
10. Availability
We run the generation and publishing jobs every day and retry failures, but we do not promise a specific uptime at this stage of the product. Publishing can be delayed by Google API outages, quota limits or maintenance. A missed post is not a refundable event on its own, except as set out in clause 7.
11. Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time by cancelling in Billing or asking us to delete the account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches clause 9, that is used for a business the holder does not represent, or whose invoices remain unpaid after reminders. Except for serious abuse, we will give you notice and a chance to fix it.
12. Liability
To the extent the law allows, PostPilot is provided as it is, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost custom or revenue from a post that did not go out. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top always shows the current version, and we email account holders before any material change takes effect. Continuing to use PostPilot after that means you accept the new version.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra.
15. Contact
Questions, complaints and cancellation requests all go to support@socialviens.in. A person answers, usually within one working day.
